Description
Trial trenching carried out by Thames Valley Archaeological Services in May 2006 in advance of redevelopment identified a number of post-medieval structures, 3 mortared chalk walls and 1 or 2 pits, probably representing back-yard occupation well to the rear of the street frontage. A few sherds of medieval pottery from a pit fill may be residual finds within a later contect (B1).
