Description

2 post-medieval pits and a possible medieval pit or ditch recorded during evaluation trial trenching carried out by AS&C in May 2002. 2 sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the possible medieval feature (B1).
Post-medieval boundary slot or gully identified during subsequent watching brief carried out by AS&C in March and April 2004. The feature was 0.5m wide, 0.18m deep and visible for 5m, aligned roughly N-S. The fill contained a single abraded brick fragment (B2).
