Description

Grade II. Boundary wall, formerly south wall of almshouses, now demolished [CAS 0409300000]. C17, C18. Repaired C20. Coursed rubblestone walls with 4 courses of tiles and ridge tile to copings. Centre piece raised as archway which formerly seperated the two blocks of almshouses. Curved tiled coping. Central archway has segmental arch. Above arch is illegible ironstone plaque. At rear of archway are stepped buttresses. RCHM I. 126. MON.8 (B9).
