Description

Cantilevered pillbox recorded by Defence of Britain Project Regional Coordinator in 1995 and 1997. Pillbox constructed 1940-1. 'According to airfield manager the site was blown up by the Territorial Army'. Approximate NGR only (B4).
Detailed NGR derived from modern OS mapping, verified by 1946, 1947 and 1985 vertical APs.
