In Leckhampstead Hugh holds 2 hides form Walter [Giffard]. Land for 1 plough; it is there, with 1 villager, 2 smallholders and 1 slave. 1 mill at 20d; meadow for 1 plough; woodland, 50 pigs. Total value 30s; when acquired 20s; before 1066, 30s. Swarting, Asgar the Constable's man, held this manor; he could neither sell nor grant without his permission.
