A post medieval gravel pit is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks near Waterloo Farm and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located about 250 metres NW of Waterloo Farm and centred at SP 88899 23648, the irregularly shaped extractive pit is about 3,846 square metres in area and truncates a block of medieval/post medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, which it post-dates. On aerial photographs taken in 2015 and recent remote sensing data, the extraction area remains visible (2-5).
