A post medieval clay pit is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located across two fields adjacent Dunsham Farm and centred at SP 83024 15281, a large irregularly shaped clay pit, bisected by a field boundary, covers an area of about 9,884 and 1,927 square metres. The quarry cuts into a block of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks, so post-dating it. On aerial photographs taken in 2023 and recent remote sensing data, the earthwork quarries remain visible (2-3).
