An extractive pit post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 160m south of Priory Farm, Thornborough, and centred at SP 74262 32798. This pit has been partly infilled on lidar visualisations and is part way along a trackway that runs parallel to the Bletchley Road (see MBC45255). The underlying geology is Peterborough Mudstone overlain by superficial deposits of Till Diamicton. (2-3)
