An extractive pit of post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Willow Farm, Thornborough, and centred at SP 476075 233512. Pit is subrectangular, approximately 67x46m and the underlying geology is superficial deposits of glaciofluvial gravel overlying Peterborough Mudstone. (2-3)
