Located about 310 metres SE of Hogshaw Hill Farm on Conduit Hill and centred at SP 74771 21927, an irregularly shaped pit covers an area of about 1,972 square metres. The extraction site appears to cut into a block of medieval and/or post medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, so post-dating it (2-3).
