Description

EARLIEST FEATURE OF SITE WAS A COBBLED YARD OF FLINTS & SOIL 10-20CM THICK, WITH NO ASSOCIATED FEATURES EXCEPT 1 POSSIBLE POST-HOLE. SOON AFTER ITS CONSTRUCTION WASTE POTTERY & TILES WERE DUMPED ON YARD'S SURFACE TO HEIGHT OF 30CM IN PLACES (B6).
