POT OF COARSE WARE. RIM AND HANDLE BROKEN OFF BUT PARTLY PRESERVED. HOLE IN SIDE. BASE CHIPPED. FOUND IN DIGGING OF FOUNDATIONS IN GRACE'S CLOSE FIELD BY MR D ARNOLD (B1-3).

The Roman flagon was found during the digging of the foundations of No.1 Winslow Road by the owner. (House centred SP 76672510). Surveyed at 1:2500. (B5)
