INN RETAINS 1 ANCIENT FEATURE: PANELLED CEILING. HOUSE REFERRED TO IN QUARTER SESSIONS, 1696. ORIG CALLED SARACENS HEAD? (B1).
2 STOREYS, BUILT C17. HALF H- SHAPE WITH WINGS TO E. MAIN BLOCK MOSTLY REBUILT IN BRICK, C18; NOW COVERED WITH CEMENT. SOME ORIG TIMBER-FRAMING (B2).
