MOUND, PROBABLY A BARROW, IN HARTWELL PARK (B1).
PLAN SHOWS ICE HOUSE AT 'THE MOUNT' (B2).
NATURAL KNOLL LANDSCAPED TO FORM AN ORNAMENTAL MOUNT IN GROUNDS OF HARTWELL HOUSE (B3).
MOUND FORMED PROBABLY WITH SPOIL FROM ENLARGED LAKE (B5).



A mound, probably a barrow, in Hartwell Park, NE of Hartwell House. (This is probably the Icehouse published SP 79721258) (B1).
The description refers to a natural knoll at SP 79711258, landscaped to form an ornamental mount in the grounds of Hartwell House, with an Icehouse inserted into it (B7). NRHE insert 1998 (B8).
