Description

Redeveloped site at 267 Desborough Road, formerly the furniture factory of James Elliott & Sons. Now offices called the Apollo Centre. The firm had another factory in Shaftesbury Street, a traditional brick and timber chair workshop now demolished and partly reassembled at the Chiltern Open Air Museum. The form or date of the factory in Desborough Road is not known; it is shown on the 1924 OS map as lying behind houses fronting Desborough Road (B1).
