Description

Clearly defined rectangular earthwork platform about 5m X 10m, aligned approx N-S, at junction of historic routeways (Three Points Lane) through Claydon Woods, overlooking Greatmoor to W. Undated but not shown on 1st edition OS 6-inch map. Possibly the site of the lost hermitage and chapel of Finemere [CAS 0717]? (B1).
