Description

Buff brick building with red brick relieving arches and decorative banding. Four storeys at the front (north side) and three to the rear because of sloping ground. Original metal window frames. Shown on OS map of 1899 and of similar type to the Birch's factory (CASS 0846000000) and that in the Valley Centre, Slater Road (CASS 0844900000). Originally used for furniture making by Goodearls and later used by Parkertex, manufacturers of furnishing materials. Factory fire in 1910. Goodearls also owned 15 Rock Villas (B2).
