Description

Two-storey 1970s flat-roofed building on site of Riverside Works, the furniture factory of John Hawkins & Co which was destroyed by fire in 1971. Now Furniture Direct's factory showroom who make tailor-made sofas and chairs. Other non-furniture uses in building. Not known if manufacturing is still carried on in the building. Service access is from Cedar Terrace. Report and photographs (B1).
