Description

Factory and showroom of Simbeck Furniture Linmited called Cherry Orchard Works. Firm started as S & B in Lane End in 1954 and moved to this site in 1957. Spring Gardens was formerly called Springfield Road. The 1934 OS map shows a factory on this site but without inspection it is not known if that building still exists. Building visible from road look 1950s-1960s. Report and photograph in B1.
