Description

Former chair factory on the south side of Grafton Street close to the junction with Desborough Park Road. Two-storey of yellow brick with unusual arched windows and red-brick window arches on the northern gable. Slate roof. Chimneys appear to have been removed (see photograph in The Cabinet Maker and Complete House Furnisher, 27 October 1923, p.210). Thought to have been the factory of Bonnet and Ford (ibid.) The other furniture factories on the south side of Grafton Street seem to have been demolished and redeveloped. Report and photograph (B1).
