Description

25 human burials recorded during watching brief and subsequent excavation carried out in June 2004 by Oxford Archaeology. A post-medieval gravestone and brick-lined shaft grave were also recorded. Saxo-Norman, medieval and residual Romano-British pottery was recovered. Detailed analysis was carried out on 6 complete skeletons. See report for detail (B10).
