Description

Well, 5-6 feet diameter, at least 4 feet deep, apparently rock cut below a depth of 3 feet and partly backfilled with rubble and soil, reported to BCM. Well is visible at the edge of an arable field, a couple of yards from a footpath or farm track. Believed locally to be Roman (B8). At NGR.
