Description

Watching brief carried out by John Moore Heritage Services in April 2004 identified a pit 0.72m wide and 0.42m deep with concave sides and base, and a NW-SE aligned ditch 0.4m wide, 0.94m deep and at least 0.9m long, with concave sides and rounded base, possibly a drainage ditch or boundary ditch. Both features were undated. A single modern posthole was also found. (B1).
