Pits shown on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Bucks sheet 48, surveyed 1875-76), on the OS 1st edition 25-inch map (Bucks sheet 48.11, surveyed 1876) and one still shown on the 1978 OS 1:10,00 map (surveyed 1961-75) [B1].
