Description

Small stretch (approx 80m) of zig-zag trenching alongside field boundary visible in field to rear of the Territorial Army Centre (site now occupied by Palmer Avenue), visible in 1948 RAF AP. Trench appears fairly 'fresh' or crisp, so presumably constructed late in World War II or immediately post-war (B1).
