Description

Sewage works constructed at Wycombe Marsh in 1883, with additions to the complex in the 1925, 1945/8, 1970 and 1980. See desk-based assessment report for detail (B1).
Evaluation trial trenching carried out by TVAS in May and June 2002 indicated that a large proporton of the site had been disturbed by construction works for the sewage works, with natural gravels directly overlaid by modern made ground (B2).
