  • ENCLOSURE? (Late Bronze Age to Late Iron Age - 1000 BC? to 42 AD?)
  • FIELD BOUNDARY? (5th Century Saxon to Medieval - 410 AD? to 1539 AD?)

Description

RAF vertical Aps appear to show a large enclosure on rising ground (on spit between two gentle valleys). The southern part of the enslosure appears to cross the ridge and furrow and is very distinct. The northern arm might be intepreted as a headland - the county-wide survey of ridge and furrow was unable to interpret evidence in these two fields (B1).
