The remains of a trackway/hollow way running SSW-NNE between Swanbourne and Cranborough can be traced in the field boundaries and tree lines on OS 1st edition 6in map. Possibly became disused and the thoroughfare re-routed to current road to E after the development of the park and gardens surrounding Swanbourne House? (1).
