Description

An article tracing the 10th century boundary of the manor of Winslow notes the placename of Dudslow as a furlong in an open field system suggesting a mound or tumulus. There is a query over whether it was north or south of the Buckingham Road. No obvious features are visible and the area was enclosed and suffered from mineral extraction in the 18th and 19th centuries (1).
