Description

A total of 11 Roman pottery sherds found during evaluation and subsequent excavation. All were residual within later features with the exception of a single sherds of Samian found within an otherwise undated large rubbish? pit (approx 3m diameter, and approx 1.2m deep), which also contained animal bone. No other Romano-British features were identified. NGR to approximate location of pit (B1,B2,B3).
