Description
In advance of tree thinning, a survey was undertaken to identify archaeological features which might be impacted by machine movement. The survey noted some 21 saw pits and 8 charcoal hearths in close association (survey ref no: 1, 2, 4, 7, 12, 13, 24, 26, 27, 28, 17, 20, 22, 43, 41, 42, 23, 33, 30, 39, 40 ) (B1).
