Description

The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes two small ditches 10m long and 20m long, 0.8m wide and 0.3m deep. They are interpreted as possibly being service trenches or part of the garden plot for the Corinthian Arch. A wall of dressed stone blocks links one of the ditches to the nearby quarry (1).
