Description

Find made during a rally of the Weekend Wanderers Detecting Club. Romano-British brooch, glass centre boss type, with glided or silvered back, pin and jewel missing found at SP855079. Denarius, silver pated, found at SP855079. Bronze As, Domizian, found at SP855078. The finds were made in the top 6 inches of ploughsoil. A search of an area 20m x 20m around the find spots was made but no other finds were made. Another Roman coin (Denaruis) was found in the same field (CAS 6863) (1) .
