Description
The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes a small rectangular hollow measuring 12m x 8m x 0.6m, cutting the ridge and furrow. Interpreted as a former agricultural building dating to 19th century. The building is not marked on the 1843 estate plan or the 1880 and 1900 OS maps, but it most probably dates from the 19th century (6).
