Description

The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes two v-shaped banks and three short linear banks close to the North Front of Stowe House. The banks are 1.6m wide and 0.3m high. This trench and several others are visible on 1946 and 1969 aerials photographs (B19).
Note: The nearest WW2 army camp is to SW at the Water Stratford crossroads (CAS 6595).
