Description
The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes a trackway to the horth of Home Farm running for some 250m from SP67013754 to SP67153774. For most of its course, it has scarps on either side forming a track 2m wide. The track is shown on the 1814 OS maps. The northern section of the track follows that depicted on the 1880 OS map which runs along a field boundary from the Course towards Home farm. The track probably dates from the late 18th/early 19th century, when Home Farm was built. The scarps to the west and north of this are probably also associated with access to Home Farm (6).
