Description

Parallel ditches running NNE from Blackpit to join the established route of the Roman Road (Holdback Lane) show clearly on aerial photos of ploughed field. The 'route' seems to corresponds with the former field boundary systems (now three large fields) and a second track which swings WNW from the boundary of Home Wood to join the routeway (B1)
