Description

Fieldwalking led tot he recoverey of 93 sherds of pottery predominantly medieval wares. The large range of medieval wares is believed to be indicative of the fact that the field is close to the settlement. The low density of Romano-British suggests that the field was in cultivation at the time. (1)
