Description
133 sherds of pottery were recovered and the vast majority was medieval Potterspury ware. The general distribution suggests that that the fields were part of Leckhampstead's open field system. The Romano-British wares were found in the northern part of the field which corresponds with the large scatter found to the west of the derelict barn in the field on the other side of the road (CAS 6815) (B1).
