Description

29 sherds of pottery recovered made up almost entirely of early moden pottery concentrated around the site of a post parliamentary enclosure cottage formely located in the northern corner of the field. A single sherd of Romano-British pottery was also recovered. This suggests that this field was not cultivated in the medieval period (1).
