Description

During fieldwalking a large pottery assembalge was recovered dominated by Romano-British ware (some 347 of the 366 shereds recovered). The distribution focussed on the centre of the field suggesting an occupation point of significance. The small amounts of later medieval pottery suggests arable explotiation in the middle ages (B1).
