Description

Oval depresssions about 50m across and 1m deep identified during field survey carried out by Network Archaeology in July 2001 in advance of forestry planting. At least three incoherent clusters of magnetic anomalies 10-50m across were identified during subsequent geophysical survey. Interpreted as possible in-filled former extraction pits (B5).
