Description

Two oval depresssions 30-40m across and 1m deep identified during field survey carried out by Network Archaeology in July 2001 in advance of forestry planting. Depressions did not register as anomalies during subsequent geophysical survey. Interpreted as possible extraction pits or may be part of extension of southern moat for Moreton Manor (B5).
