Description

Finds reported to Buckingham County Museum in June 1999 from 100m of spring/stream bed running from SP72680940 - SP72560950. The finds were made during May 1999 and include 31 coins in varying conditions (some of which are identifiable as Roman); a Roman bow brooch; a possible lead seal or bale mark; seven fragments of copper alloy and lead not apparently from a distinct vessel. The finds were gathered either from surface or from a maximum depth of 2in below the streambed (B1).
