Description

Substantial headland bank crossing what was known as 'Ridge' field in 1825 and running SW to NE. Headland is 24m wide and is up to 1.5 -2m high at the SW end. There is an associated bank in the garden of an adjoining house running N - S. Correspondence suggests that the field may be part of glebeland owned by Oxford Diocese (B1).
