HOLLOW COPPER-ALLOY CAST ANIMAL-HEADED SPOUT FROM EWER, CF LONDON MUSEAM CATALOGUE, PLATE 53 NO A2752. C14TH-15TH. ANIMAL HEAD WITH SLIGHTLY ROUNDED UPSTANDING EARS WITH CIRCULAR HOLLOW TUBE PROJECTING FROM JAWS. OVERALL LENGTH PROJECTED 80MM. METAL THICKNESS C.4.. AT BODY ATTACHMENT END. COMPLETE. TYPICAL CURVING PROFILE WITH STRONG CURVE FOR ATTACHMENT TO MAUN BODY OF VESSEL. IN FINE CONDITION WITH GOOD PATINA, TRACES OF BRONZE DISEASE CREAST OF EARS. (B1) PHOTO'S FILED AT SMR CAS 2323.
