Description

POST-MEDIEVAL POTTERY KILN FOUND IN 1953 BY E M JOPE BUT NOT EXCAVATED. THE KILN WAS LOCATED NEAR THE EAST EDGE OF THE FIELD WEST OF LUDGERSHALL ROAD AND DIRECTLY WEST OF THE GATE LEADING FROM LUDGERSHALL ROAD INTO THE TEMPLE FARM FIELD WHERE E M JOPE EXCAVATED MEDIEVAL KILNS IN 1953 (B1).
