Description

During archaeological watching brief of the excavation of footings for a new garage a substantial 17th or 18th century ditch and probable cess pit were discovered. The fills of both features contained sherds of glazed Brill/Boarstall Ware pottery dated to the second half of 17th or early 18th century and fragments of roofing tile (B2).
