Description

Geophysical survey detected an area of enhanced magnetic susceptibility, indicating some linear disturbance at chainage 2940 (B1).
The geophysical features were originally interpreted as being related to airfield activity and field boundaries (B3).
These features were re-interpreted as a trackway and a former field boundary associated with it, which is shown on the 1775 plan of the Lordship of Tingewick (B2).
