Description

Walls of a building which is marked on maps of 1858 and 1880, thought to be a barn due to the lack of finds. The two parallel north-south walls 4.5m wide and 14m long, were spaced 4m apart. Both were made of undressed tabular limestone blocks and set into foundation trenches. The stones had been mortared together with soft yellow sand and lime mortar. There is no evidence of floor or roof material. (B1)
